{"id":2907,"date":"2016-10-17T13:17:21","date_gmt":"2016-10-17T12:17:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amdf-centre.org\/?p=2907"},"modified":"2026-07-05T20:22:02","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T19:22:02","slug":"harvard-offers-media-innovation-fellowship-worldwide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amdf-centre.org\/2016\/10\/17\/harvard-offers-media-innovation-fellowship-worldwide\/","title":{"rendered":"Harvard offers media innovation fellowship [Worldwide]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Journalists worldwide working for news organizations in a business, technology\u00a0or leadership capacity can apply for a fellowship at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/nieman.harvard.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Nieman Foundation for Journalism<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/cyber.law.harvard.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Berkman Klein Center for Internet &amp; Society<\/a> will host at least one fellow for an academic year to carry out a research project on journalism innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must propose a project relating to journalism\u2019s digital transformation. Examples might include ideas for new revenue streams to fund journalism, the construction of new tools for reporting or research into news consumption patterns.<\/p>\n<p>Most fellows receive a US$65,000 stipend.
