{"id":5163,"date":"2019-05-09T10:21:20","date_gmt":"2019-05-09T09:21:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amdf-centre.org\/?p=5163"},"modified":"2026-07-05T19:56:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T18:56:09","slug":"apply-aaas-kavli-science-journalism-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amdf-centre.org\/2019\/05\/09\/apply-aaas-kavli-science-journalism-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Apply: AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The AAAS Kavli Science Journalism Awards, organized by the Kavli Foundation, recognize outstanding reporting for a general audience and honor individuals for coverage of the sciences, engineering and mathematics.<\/p>\n<p>The categories are large newspaper, small newspaper, magazine, audio, video spot news\/feature reporting, video in-depth reporting, online and children&#8217;s science news.<\/p>\n<p>Entries must have been published, broadcast or posted online between July 16, 2018 through July 15, 2019. Works in a language other than English must include an English translation.<\/p>\n<p>There will be two awards for each category, a Gold award worth US$5,000 and a Silver award worth US$3,500.
