{"id":5433,"date":"2019-07-11T14:55:39","date_gmt":"2019-07-11T13:55:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amdf-centre.org\/?p=5433"},"modified":"2026-07-05T19:50:34","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T18:50:34","slug":"5433","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amdf-centre.org\/2019\/07\/11\/5433\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Nonfiction and fiction writers can apply for a grant.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Miles Morland Foundation awards annually a small number of Morland Writing Scholarships.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The scholarships are open to anyone writing in the English language who was born in Africa or whose parents were born in Africa.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fiction scholars will receive GBP18,000 (US$22,646), paid over a period of up to 12 months.
